He walked into town, bought a shave, and confessed to three murders. That was just the opening move.

Eldridge Sample is done drifting. When he rides into the boomtown of Purgatory Creek, he isn't looking for a job-he's looking for a jail cell. After gunning down three corrupt railroad fixers on a porch outside town, Sample calmly surrenders to the local law.
