My story unfolds in a second world modern high fantasy where kingdoms are governed the way secrets are kept: by suspicion when proof won't come, by informants when silence can be bought, and by blood when the truth grows too heavy for any mouth to carry.

I am Yazan, a boy who asked fate for nothing more than to pass through it unnoticed. Instead, it lodged a secret in my chest that no human being should be made to bear alone: the Truth Stones. Magical jewels heart of every kingdom, the key to its continuance that shine for the one who holds them ... and scorch him with the same impartial light.

Their existence doesn't only make kings; it makes them hungry. It teaches them how to smile while hiding the knife. And from the moment I became the one who knew or the one who was known I turned into the missing link: the piece that, once set in its proper place, will close the circle and call back the ancient civilisation of the King-Legends, that old myth that once ruled the whole world. Not to be repeated around fires as a cautionary tale, but to be restored and used.

This is where the true craft begins. The danger isn't in magic. It's in the hand that knows exactly where to settle without trembling. I became a target pulled between appetites that change their masks but never their teeth, foremost among them Vanmand: king of the Kingdom of Dujnah, servant of the Crown of Humanity one of those men whose brows wear, above the crown of the throne, another crown that grants unbelievable power, but never without a price that isn't written in any record ... because it is paid in years, in spirit, in loyalty.

What is the secret of the Truth Stones? What limit does their boundless power conceal, like a trap polished to look like salvation? And why does the world choose kings for the Throne Crowns, are they being rewarded, or are the victims being selected with the faces of saviours?

Do I bow to what is, and hand my fate to Vanmand, bearer of Humanity's Crown? Or do I light a war whose beginning I can name, and whose ending I cannot promise a war that might win the world ... and lose me?

This is a novel that wagers on plot before ornament: measured steps, masks exchanged at every turn, and description that opens the eye onto layers the language itself once hid. It is an invented world of adventure, danger, and suspense, yet its heart is not the chase alone, but the question that tightens slowly like a fist at the throat: what happens when truth itself becomes a stone kingdoms will kill for?
