Kessan Mandolph-Taylor is a vivacious woman who has overcome many obstacles in her young life to become a positive force in her church, her community, and the world. She grew up in the West Los Angeles area and became an unwed mother at the age of 16.
After dropping out of high school, Kessan never gave up on her hopes of finishing school and doing something positive with her life. Her life's mission is to empower those who feel like all hope is lost, especially females of all ages. Kessan is an active member at her church, where she serves in different ministry capacities. She is a motivational and inspirational teacher, and also facilitates at various Cal state colleges in Los Angeles. Kessan received her master's degree in social work and looks forward to continuing her education
