UFOs in Chile

Chile is a long, narrow country in South America that is often associated with ufology, or the study of reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Television reports, the release of videos of seemingly strange phenomena in the skies, and the existence of the Section for Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (SEFAA, formerly CEFAA) -the government agency responsible for investigating those reports- have fueled that image of the country for decades.
