~ Masochism offered by sadists, masquerading as 'love'.
~ Ukraine-Talking Heads.

Moral reflex is often purely reserved for the poetic realm, lament in the novel or song, not the merciless suffering of the material world. Human malevolence is different entirely, more awful than natural phenomena. Sadistic brutality combined with apathy is all the unfortunate sufferer of such malice will find in the palm-shade of paradiso-expats and locals alike happy to focus on maintaining their own squalid slice of paradise. Who wants to ruffle feathers or imperil their own flesh? What remains of hope or the belief in an interconnectedness of everyone-and-thing? What heartless teachings lie within these demands to digest the indigestible? What is one to learn from the abysmally cheapening aftermath of horror and terror?
