Zippy was a stallion who loved to run across the wide- open Arizona desert enjoying the stately saguaros, creosote brush, dry gullies and arroyos.
The problem was he was not free to do this. He lived on a small ranch outside of Tombstone, Arizona. His owner was trying, with no success, to train him to be ridden. But Zippy was the stallion no man could ride.
One day, though, his fortunes changed when he accidentally gained his freedom - a gate was left open. Shortly after his escape, something happened which
changed his life forever. In the process, he discovered that true freedom was even sweeter when it was used to help someone in need.
