Triple bill of John Grisham adaptations. In 'The Client', young Mark and his brother are out wandering in the woods when they stumble across a fat mob lawyer about to commit suicide. In 'A Time to Kill', Carl Lee (Samuel L. Jackson) seeks violent revenge after his 10-year-old daughter is brutally assaulted. When his actions lead to his arrest, lawyer Jake Brigance (Matthew McConaughey) has to battle against mounting pressure from both the Ku Klux Klan and the Civil Rights Movement to save Carl from Death Row. Sandra Bullock also stars as Brigance's student aide, while Kevin Spacey appears as the ruthless prosecutor, Rufus Buckley.
